I was renovating my dream house – what I found makes me think it’s haunted

A family of four discovered a hidden door inside their “dream home” during renovations.

Frida, who goes by @fridasofialind, revealed how she found an entrance blocked behind a paneled wall.

In a 38-second clip posted in October. 31, the homeowners remove the wall, panel by panel, revealing the layers beneath until they notice a doorway.

The family began renovations on their vintage two-story cottage in northern Sweden in 2023. During the renovations, they first noticed one of the closed doors, which they assume is connected to the hidden door.

“After stripping off layer after layer, it finally appeared,” Frida confessed in the clip. Unfortunately, the door was locked and impossible to open.”

With no solid answer to what lies between the mystery door, the family considers the house “haunted.”

And they are not alone; the revelation scared many TikTokers.

“Anyone else watches the handle move,” one person claimed.

“I had to look at this twice the doorknob moved,” said another.

However, some people believe that the hidden door is a trick after seeing some details.

“That door is not old. It looks brand new and had no handle. Then suddenly a handle appeared, which needs to be attached from the other side,” commented a spectator.

“There’s someone on the other side connecting the other handle, that’s why it’s moving. This is not a secret room,” writes one TikToker.

The Swedish family is not the only family to have found hidden doors inside their home.

As previously reported by The Post, a couple discovered a secret room inside the house they had lived in for years.

“What luck, we’ve never seen this in our house and we’ve lived here for four years,” Blazingstar said in a video posted online.

The couple came across the secret room when they were removing the carpet in their basement, only to find the “sliding drywall pocket door.” Inside the oblong room were a switch and a work lamp, some wires hanging on the wall, a drain, four mattresses and patches of “rust” on the floor.

In subsequent videos, the couple showed their children the room. Their eldest daughter crawled inside on the dubious floor in bare feet, while the youngest son carried what looked like a cross with him.
